CHRISTINE PARK GALLERY is delighted to announce its first participation in West Bund Art & Design 2021 at West Bund Art Centre, Shanghai. The gallery will present a dedicated selection of paintings by Nick Archer, Jenny Pockley and Wei Xiaoguang.
We opened a special Online Viewing Room for West Bund Art Fair & Design on its Gallery's Website from 6 to 16 November 2021. For OVR, please visit our gallery website at www.christinepark.net.

Further to their solo exhibition in our Shanghai gallery space, Jenny Pockley presents Exposure (2018), a large scale mountain painting and Nick Archer presents 4 works including Rose (2021), a painting on black sand cloth and Postcard of a Jester (2020) which is painted on a copper plate. During the fair, Archer’s solo exhibition “Dereliction” continues in the gallery at 225 Anfu Lu.

Moreover, we are pleased to announce our representation of the works by Wei Xiaoguang. Ahead of his solo exhibition in 2022, Wei Xiaoguang presents a complete series of paintings that he painted in his Beijing studio during 2020 and 2021. Born in 1986 in Inner-Mongolia, China, Wei Xiaoguang studied at the Central Academy of Fine Art in Beijing and Hunter College in New York. Overcoming the distinction between representation and abstraction, Wei Xiaoguang’s work is deeply embedded in the post “Death of Painting” period. By carefully modulating effects of light, textures and surfaces, his paintings effectively combine multiple visual languages and artistic traditions. He lives and works in Beijing and Shanghai, where he teaches at the Institute of Management of Art and Design at the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

We look forward to more fruitful collaborations with him in Shanghai, New York and Singapore in 2022.

For more information, please DM us or email us at info@christinepark.net. Our Offical WeChat account ID is cpgallery. We look forward to welcoming you at West Bund.
